Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam College of Professional Studies (APJCPS) is a new-generation institution nestled in Iritty, Kannur, Kerala - established under the Rural Educational Trust and affiliated to Kannur University.
We offer four industry-aligned undergraduate programs, with a standout distinction: we are home to Kerala's first regular degree in Aviation & Airport Management, delivered in partnership with Kannur International Airport. DAACOPS currently offers four undergraduate degree programs: BBA in Aviation & Airport Management, BCA in Computer Applications with AI, BBA in Business Administration with Logistics & Supply Chain, and B.Com in Finance with Logistics & Supply Chain. Each program is 3 or 4 years under Kannur University's FYUGP framework and comes with a valuable industry add-on certification.
Our BBA in Aviation & Airport Management is the only regular undergraduate aviation degree in Kerala. Students receive live training at Kannur International Airport, covering airport operations, ground handling, airline ticketing (Amadeus/Galileo systems), cargo management, and cabin crew service. This real-world exposure sets our graduates apart in the competitive aviation job market.
All programs follow Kannur University's Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP). Students may exit with a certificate after 1 year, a diploma after 2 years, a Bachelor's degree after 3 years, or an Honours/Honours with Research degree after 4 years - giving you flexibility to choose your academic journey.
Admission is open to students who have completed their Plus Two (10+2) or equivalent from any recognised board. For BCA, a background in Mathematics or Computer Science is preferred but not mandatory. Admissions follow Kannur University guidelines and the Kerala CAP (Centralised Admission Process). Yes - we offer 100% Placement Assistance through our dedicated placement cell. This includes resume building workshops, mock interview sessions, aptitude training, campus recruitment drives, and direct industry referrals. Our network of employer partners spans aviation, IT, BFSI, logistics, and retail sectors across India and the Gulf region.
Each program includes a structured add-on certification: BCA students receive an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning certification, while BBA and B.Com students receive a Logistics & Supply Chain Management certification. These are in addition to the core degree and significantly improve employability and salary prospects for our graduates.
